Charles Clawson is both a licensed attorney and Certified Public Accountant. He received his BBA degree in Accounting from Baylor University in 1990. Following college, Charles obtained his CPA license and worked for Arthur Andersen, a Big Six public accounting firm. He left Arthur Andersen to oversee multiple business ventures including mortgage lending, real estate development, and venture capital.
Charles received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Utah in 2001. He practiced law at Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen, Nelson & Sanders in Las Vegas, Nevada. His practice areas included business transactions, corporate law, asset protection and estate planning. In 2004, LandAmerica hired Charles to start its Commonwealth Title brand in Nevada. In the spring of 2007, Charles founded Noble Title, one of the largest privately-owned title & escrow companies in Nevada. During his tenure, Noble Title handled more than $2.6 billion of real estate transactions. In 2012 it was awarded the Top Agent Award from First American Title Company. In 2013, Noble Title was a Family-Owned Business Award finalist.
Charles is a licensed attorney in Utah, Nevada, and New York. He is a licensed CPA in Texas, Utah, and Nevada.
He practiced law at the law firm of Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen, Nelson & Sanders in Las Vegas for four years. His areas of practice include business transactions, corporate law, asset protection and estate planning. An entrepreneur, Charles started Nevada Insurance, a property & casualty insurance broker in 2014.
Charles donates many hours of volunteer time helping other people both locally and around the world. His volunteer activities include serving a volunteer mission to Norway (1985 – 1987), building a water cistern & doctor’s facility in Kenya (1994) and helping a leper colony in India (2017) and he consistently donates more than 400 hours per year in volunteer service.
