Leading Law Firm Gets ‘Tremendous Value’ in LA Office Expansion Deal

It upsized at 11100 Santa Monica Boulevard to 16,811 square feet.

Law firm Kibler Fowler & Cave LLP has expanded its Los Angeles headquarters by taking a new 16,811-square-foot lease at 11100 Santa Monica Boulevard.

The space, arranged by JLL, represents an expansion from the company’s current headquarters, where it occupies 5,630 square feet in the same building. JLL noted that space gives the tenant prime value at the price it paid, according to the brokerage. The price per square foot was not revealed.

The firm has experienced sustained growth on both coasts since its inception—expanding its team and deepening its bench across key practice areas, said Kibler Fowler & Cave’s Managing Partner Mike Kibler, in a release.

JLL’s Senior Managing Director Jim Schoolfield told GlobeSt.com that Los Angeles remains the firm's hub and its commitment to 11100 Santa Monica Blvd testifies to its investment in talent for a premier law firm.

“The tenant base of the project aligns with Kibler Fowler, and the location and asset quality offer tremendous value considering the cost of comparable buildings in Century City,” said Schoolfield, who represented the tenant on the deal.

Schoolfield added that in today’s economy, companies are using office space to attract and retain talent, which has become especially critical in the legal sector.”

Rick Buckley and Peter Best represented the landlord with L.A. Realty Partners.

The deal comes at a time when LA's office market is starting to heat up. Avison Young recently reported that sales volume reached $2.6 billion year-to-date, the strongest performance since 2022.
