EBS Using SoCal Footprint to Advantage in New Logistics Project in Vegas

Both Southern California and Southern Nevada are epicenters of West Coast logistics.

EBS benefits from its headquarters being in Southern California as it breaks the ground on a new logistics project in Southern Nevada. In fact, both regions serve as the epicenter of West Coast logistics and offer proximity to each other.

Between the Ports of LA/Long Beach, dense population centers and critical interstate infrastructure, these markets offer irreplaceable supply chain positioning.

EBS Principal and Co-Founder Quinn Johnson told GlobeSt.com that his firm supports well-located logistics assets in these two areas.

"They benefit from durable demand drivers, land constraints that limit new supply, and long-term tenant demand," Johnson said. "As supply chains continue to regionalize and prioritize speed-to-consumer, proximity matters more than ever."

"Southern California remains the primary gateway for imports, while Southern Nevada offers a cost-efficient extension of that network. Together, they form one of the most dynamic logistics corridors in the country."

Southern California-based EBS Realty and its investment partner, Penwood, both kicked off construction on a planned more than 1.36 million-square-foot, two-building, 90-acre class A industrial campus in the Apex/North Las Vegas submarket, knowing it will attract demand from e-commerce, manufacturing and distribution tenants. The project is called Apex Ridge Logistics Park.

The entire park will be developed on spec, with the buildings designed offer flexibility and cater to a broad range of potential users. Its location enables quick access to the I-15 freeway via Las Vegas Blvd. Corporate neighbors include Smith's-Kroger, Air Liquide, DHL and Crocs.

Apex Ridge is part of EBS's expanding list of industrial developments across Southern Nevada. The firm is currently delivering or advancing more than 2.6 million square feet of class A industrial space across 11 projects in the region.
