CODA Apartments, a 296-unit, brand new garden community located in East Orlando sold for $66 million. Catalyst and The Carlyle Group sold the 296-unit property to RK Properties.<
The property is located adjacent to the Central Florida Research Park and the University of Central Florida, which collectively employ over 23,000 individuals. It fronts East Colonial Drive, a primary east-west thoroughfare in the area, and is also located less than one-quarter of a mile from S.R. 408 East-West Expressway. <
Newmark Knight Frank Multifamily’s Senior Managing Director Scott Ramey and Erik Bjornson and Vice Chairman Patrick Dufour represented the sellers in the transaction. <
Constructed in 2019, the 4-story elevator serviced community has a fully integrated clubhouse and such outdoor amenities as a separate fitness center, an indoor dog spa, a pool sundeck with outdoor kitchens and Big Green Egg grilling stations, a fenced-in dog park, and four courtyards.
